Since 1985, the firm has managed and marketed thousands of at-risk, distressed, real estate owned (REO) residential and commercial properties including: office buildings, retail, multi-family and one to four family residential homes. In addition, River has played an extensive role working with court appointed receivers to turn around and sell under performing assets.

In 2008, through the sale of its property management division to Associa Management, one of the nation’s largest community and association management firms, River gained a strategic national partner with unparalleled presence and resources.

Led by seasoned real estate industry professionals, the management team provides hands-on asset management that aggressively seeks opportunities to add value for clients. Management, staff and associate brokers all have extensive experience working through the challenges associated with managing, marketing and ultimately disposing distressed or real estate owned property (REO). The team also leverages relationships with industry experts, as needed, to maximize recovery for each asset.
